Renny Borhan
Senior Vice President and Managing Director (EMEA)
Renny Borhan is Senior Vice President and Managing Director in charge of Hill's Construction Claims operations throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Mr. Borhan has over 18 years of management consulting experience in various sectors of the construction industry, including claims and dispute resolution, project and construction, management, finance and accounting, purchasing and procurement, contracts administration as well as organizational studies and restructuring. Mr. Borhan has in-depth knowledge of working with international donor agencies including the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the World Bank/IDA, the US Agency for International Development, US Trade Development Agency and The European Union. He has managed large construction projects in 15 countries worldwide and is fluent in six languages.
Mr. Borhan was previously in various senior Management Consulting and Program Management positions at the Walt Disney Company. He performed extensive work in company restructuring, organizational development and implementation of operating policies and procedures at Euro Disney during its construction. Mr. Borhan subsequently served as the Project Director of a $1 Billion-plus theme park project in Southern California. Mr. Borhan also spent several years within the Management Consulting division of Coopers & Lybrand, responsible for both the International Engineering and Construction and Resource Productivity Improvement practices. Previous to that, Mr. Borhan served five years with British Petroleum Exploration as Manager of Systems, and was responsible for designing hydrocarbon reservoir valuation models.
Mr. Borhan holds two MBAs in Global Management from Columbia University and London Business School and a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley
